New Idea, Great Potential, Cheap Entry Price
Ok. Hear me out.....Mosquitos.
We all hate them. blood sucking, disease spreading parasites lol.
So why not kill 'em and make the world a better place?
While we're at it, why not kill them with a drone? I'm sure you see where I'm going with this, but really, it makes sense. And for the price of starting a new business, it makes really good sense.
If you live in the South, then this could be a perfect way to fly robots and make lotsa money.
I think you could build yourself a 6-figure, turnkey business for right around 20K.
Buy a DJI Agras T10 for 11K, and if you buy from the AUAShop you get a free class to prep for your FAA Part-107 test, and Vets To Drones and AG-Tech Drone Service offer the hands on Drone Training for $2,500.
Next, you'll need several other items to map your mission. So:
Mavic 3 Enterprise with Care Plus is $3,958
Mavic 3 Enterprise RTK Module is $709
DJI D-RTK 2 Base Station is $3,600
Base Station Tripod is $250
Pix4D Mapper software is $370/month.
There are free NTRIP (Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol) networks that you may be able to use in order to save the up-front costs of the base station. Just sayin'
That comes in at a total of $22,387, so we're just over the 20K mark.
Yes, you will have to buy the insecticide also, but you can get that after you land your first job.
Then you go around (especially if you live in Florida) to all of the neighborhoods with the man-made lakes, talk to the HOA and get them to pay you to kill the larvae in the water.
Map a mission, press a button (it's never quite that easy...) and voila. Get Paid.
This vertical just works, since typically helicopters do this job, and you can fly at a lower altitude and concentrate the insecticide where you want it with minimum overspray and wind distribution to the surrounding areas. Not to mention it's faster and much cheaper than a helicopter.
Just something to think about, but if you're interested contact me and let's talk!
