Hey! Welcome to the AUA Shop!
I'm David Crabtree, and I founded this shop to help Commercial and Recreational Drone pilots get the equipment they need to further their business or hobby.
I've been an RC Pilot for about 25 years, and I decided to jump into the commercial Drone Industry a few years ago.
In that time, I've been cramming everything Drone related into my head, and it's made me passionate about a few things in particular.
This blog series (and there's going to be a Podcast and Video Series also) will talk about everything drone and business related.
Namely, I want to put more emphasis on the American Drone Industry. I want to see American Drone Manufacturers be on the forefront.
That being said......
I am not an anti-Chinese drone guy. Not at all. I just want to see America do better.
I love DJI. A bunch! I believe that they're good people who make awesome products, and hell, I own 5 DJI and Autel drones. As a commercial drone pilot, I need a product that is reliable and dependable. I need it to work when I do. Period. And DJI does that day in and day out.
All that I want to do is see American manufacturers make affordable, reliable products that can do the same thing. I mane, we're America. We should be all over this. Innovating, manufacturing, developing new tech, funding research and development....All the stuff that helps an industry grow.
Keep an eye out for our videos, because we're going to take American drones and put them through the wringer. We're going to do long durability tests, wind resistance tests, payload tests that exceed the manufacturers recommendations and see how the motor temperature rises, how the load on the batteries affect flight time, and see how much these drones are really capable of, and any other torture tests we can think of lol.
All of this comes back to being able to give you a more informed answer when you have questions, and to make sure that you get the right products for the job you're doing.
